About the Event

In 2020, Food Innovation Australia Limited (FIAL) published Capturing the Prize: the $200 billion value-added opportunity for the Australian food and agribusiness sector by 2030. The report identified 19 growth opportunities and detailed roadmaps outlining what needs to happen to realise this untapped potential.

Join us to see how these 19 growth opportunities link closely to the 17 SDGs and their corresponding 169 targets - developed by the UN as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Learn how the 19 growth opportunities can contribute towards achieving the SDGs and in turn support the sector’s ability to grow, produce and manufacture food beyond 2030.

Further, hear how Australia's Food and Agribusiness sector is progressing against two other FIAL roadmaps – Food Loss and Waste, and Sustainable Fisheries.

The webinar will end with a short Q&A.
