Fine Food Australia Virtual Exhibition

About the Event

This event is exclusive to 2022 Fine Food Australia food and beverage exhibitors only.

The Food and Agribusiness Growth Centre, trading as FIAL, is inviting Australian food and beverage suppliers exhibiting at Fine Food Australia in Melbourne to attend an exclusive online business matching event with key buyers from ASEAN countries.

This exciting event is a first for Fine Food Australia and is supported by the federal government, industry associations and state government. This event is a unique opportunity for export-ready food and beverage Fine Food exhibitors to meet one-to-one, in virtual meeting rooms, with qualified buyers from ASEAN countries that were unable to attend the trade show in person. Buyers represent major supermarket chains, convenience stores, e-commerce platforms, distributors, food service, importers, and more.

A free trade readiness webinar will be held prior to the Fine Food Virtual Exhibition, delivered via Zoom, to prepare suppliers with market insights, retail trends and in-demand products. To register for this webinar, click here.

Virtual one-to-one meetings with buyers from ASEAN countries

EOIs close Friday, 29th July 2022

About the ASEAN Opportunity

The pandemic and ongoing global disruptions have forced many food and beverage businesses to adapt. Fragile global supply chains and a growing gap between suppliers and buyers calls for new avenues to generate connections with international buyers. The Fine Food Australia Virtual Exhibition gives you the opportunity to meet one-to-one with key interested buyers from ASEAN markets without the need for travel.

There is a strong desire to increase ASEAN trade and investment from across the food, beverage, and agribusiness sector. The ASEAN market is on-track to become the fourth-largest economy in the world. More than 60 million households in ASEAN countries are part of the ‘emerging middle class’, with incomes exceeding the level at which they can begin to make significant discretionary purchases. That number could almost double to 125 million households by 2025, making the ASEAN region a pivotal consumer of the future.

ASEAN markets have high digital penetration rates that positively drive e-commerce growth. The Fine Food Australia Virtual Exhibition complements the region digital solutions revolution and is well positioned to facilitate business opportunities in this thriving and expanding market.

Event Details

Australian Fine Food, food and beverage exhibitors can secure a 20-minute, one-to-one online meeting with buyers from leading retailers and distributors in ASEAN countries.

Your details will be registered and sent to relevant buyers for review in the form of a virtual exhibition. There is also an opportunity to showcase exclusive deals, specials and products which will be displayed virtually for buyers to view. It is the buyer’s decision to choose whom they want to meet with, and if selected you will be notified prior to the event, as to whether you have been successful in securing an appointment.

Buyers are particularly interested in health, innovative foods and first-to-market products. As per industry feedback, increased freight cost and supply chain delays represent ongoing sector concerns, hence FIAL will co-ordinate consolidation, cost of freight and documentation support for samples for interested suppliers at a cost.
