Today, FIAL grows from a federally funded Food and Agribusiness Industry Growth Centre to an independent, industry-led, not-for-profit organisation. Australian agrifood businesses will continue to benefit from the decade of knowledge and experience built by the FIAL team.

FIAL has appointed a new Chair after the previous Chair, Dr Michele Allan stepped down to pursue other Board opportunities. Dr Allan will be replaced by Emeritus Professor Roy Green, highly regarded for his leadership in innovation, manufacturing and regional growth and diversification.

FIAL is providing new funding to build on the successful Cluster Program. $600,000 in matched-funding will be available to new and existing agri-food clusters across Australia, supporting their ability to capture growth opportunities.
